Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Donald Grub and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cain slips a jab and a cross from Rogers.
Cain avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Cain closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Cain wants to free his trapped foot but Rogers is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Cain stops Rogers from getting back to his feet.
Cain is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.
Rogers is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Cain postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Rogers is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Cain, into his guard.

Some bone on bone action there as Cain checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Rogers tries to bum rush Cain with a series of wild strikes but Cain uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Rogers looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Cain drives through and clinches with Rogers against the cage.
Rogers is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Cain is keeping busy.
Cain tries to pull guard but Rogers holds him up against the cage and eventually Cain drops back down to his feet.
Rogers scores with a shot to the side of Cain's head.
Cain jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Rogers walks away with a smile on his face. Cain gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Richard Rogers has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Caidal Cain.
