The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Felipe Paraventi and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Werdum tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Jobber xXx swivels and escapes.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Werdum shoots in but no luck this time.
Werdum closes the distance and clinches up with Jobber xXx, looking for a takedown. Werdum pushes Jobber xXx against the cage but Jobber xXx circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Werdum seems to be looking for submissions.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Jobber xXx has momentary wrist control but Werdum slips an elbow through the middle.

Werdum controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Jobber xXx is working an open guard so Werdum takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
And that's the end of the fight!

Well Werdum has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
