Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Bone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Kruger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, John Bone! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Mark Kruger! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Donald Grub and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kruger shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bone as he jumps to the side. Bone gets caught flat footed, as Kruger shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Bone could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Bone is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kruger defends well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kruger controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Bone is breathing heavily. Let's hope that Kruger has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Kruger postures up in Bone's guard and throws a big left but Bone blocks it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kruger sitting in guard, not really doing much. I looks like Kruger might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kruger trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Bone being controlled here, momentarily.
Despite being in the dominant position, Mark Kruger just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Bone gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Kruger wants to pass the guard but Bone is keeping the position. Bone might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Kruger showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kruger got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bone has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kruger has managed to get both his arms back between Bone's legs - danger averted. Kruger sitting in guard, not really doing much. Kruger's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Kruger looking to pass the guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Kruger advances to half guard. Kruger keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mark Kruger dominated that round. That's time! Bone's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Kruger closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Bone on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Bone tries to get out of the position. Bone is letting Kruger control him for a moment.

Bone with a poor takedown and Kruger counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Kruger. Bone has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kruger can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Kruger content to stall in guard here. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Despite being in the dominant position, Mark Kruger just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Kruger closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Kruger is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Despite being in the dominant position, Mark Kruger just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Kruger shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Bone napping and manages to drive through into side control! A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mark Kruger showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Kruger feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Kruger's corner is telling him to maintain position. Kruger is pushing down on Bone's leg trying to pass to half guard. Bone is fighting to maintain full guard but Kruger has managed to sneak the leg through. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kruger perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Despite being in the dominant position, Mark Kruger just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Kruger shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Kruger was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Kruger controlling his opponent. Kruger thowing shots but they're missing. Kruger looking to control and managing it successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kruger misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Kruger tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Bone is bucking up trying to escape but Kruger cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kruger controlling his opponent. Kruger with the ground and pound from mount. Kruger takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Mark Kruger is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Kruger throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bone was covering up waiting for the punch and Kruger finishes the takedown easily into guard. Kruger content to stall in guard here.
And that's the end of the fight! Mark Kruger comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Kruger winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
