Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kesse Nesse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Devin Pain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kesse Nesse! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Devin Pain! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nesse swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A slapping leg kick lands for Nesse.
Pain has managed to clinch.
Pain breaks the clinch.
Pain closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Nesse has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Pain is working away from the top position though. Nesse avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Pain. Pain with the ground and pound but Nesse uses the opportunity to regain guard. Nesse wants to stand up but Pain is controlling him. Nesse keeping moving, preventing Pain from controlling successfully. Pain throws a big right hand that misses. Pain looking to pass the guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nesse escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Pain gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Nesse is breathing heavily.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Pain has Nesse up against the cage in a clinch.
Nesse is trying to break free. Pain is trying to trip Nesse. He has hold of a leg but Nesse is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Pain persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Pain looking to sit in guard and control but Nesse gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Pain keeping moving, preventing Nesse from controlling successfully. Pain had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Nesse is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Pain Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Nesse's back instead. Pain throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pain is punishing Nesse with strikes - can he finish him?! Pain trying to control. Nesse turns into Pain and is now in his guard.
Nesse is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Pain keeping moving, preventing Nesse from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nesse is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Pain is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Pain looking to hit a scissor sweep but Nesse is one step ahead there. Nesse stands up from Pain's guard - Nesse perhaps looking for a knockout. Kesse Nesse seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Pain fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Nesse changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Pain looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Nesse is looking to take a break and control but Pain is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Pain gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pain is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
You get the feeling that Pain really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Pain is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Pain keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Pain is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Pain trying desperately to get to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Kesse Nesse will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Nice body kick there by Nesse. A head kick from Nesse lands but Pain takes it in his stride. Nice body kick from Nesse. Pain tries to clinch there but Nesse circles away.
Nesse lands with a cross.
Pain is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Pain drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Nesse is on top in guard.
Nesse avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Nesse prevents Pain from getting back to his feet. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Pain controlling Nesse's posture.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nesse stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pain swivels though and keeps the full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pain will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Nesse wants to control from the top but Pain keeps moving.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Pain throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Nesse throws the kick towards the body but Pain avoids it. Nesse tries to clinch but Pain is having none of it. Nesse throws a wild body kick that Pain sees coming a mile off.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Nesse scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Pain is trying to buck Nesse off. Pain tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Nesse wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Pain regains half guard. Pain is trying to escape back to his feet but Nesse uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Nesse stands up. Pain scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nesse is refusing to be controlled, as Pain sits in half guard. Devin Pain has got the better of the ground game so far. Pain is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Pain trying to mount his opponent but Nesse defends it. Pain wants to lay and pray for a moment but Nesse keeps working. Pain wants to get back to his feet.
Pain misses with a head shot. Nesse uses the momentum to regain guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Nesse tries to clinch but Pain moves out of range. Pain lands a nice looking body shot.
Kesse Nesse is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Pain connects with a body shot. Pain scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Nesse bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Nesse gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Pain counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Nesse kicks Pain off and gets back to his feet. Pain takes the fight into the clinch. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Pain breaks from the clinch.
Pain clinches up against the cage. Nesse wants to break free but Pain has control.
Nesse is pressed up against the cage. Pain has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Nesse down to the mat. Nesse avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Pain has Nesse up against the cage in a clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Kesse Nesse will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Nesse with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Pain to score with a decent uppercut. Nice takedown defense from Nesse. No joy for Pain on that attempt. Horrible takedown by Pain or perhaps it was just good defense by Nesse which made him look bad. Pain tries a head kick but it misses.
Pain gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Nesse counters with a left and a right that stings Pain. Kesse Nesse has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Devin Pain. Nesse throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Pain gets the takedown into side control. Pain working the strikes but Nesse uses the opportunity to regain half guard. Nesse tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Nesse blocking the ground and pound attempt from Pain. Pain is pressing down on Nesse's thigh, looking to free his foot. Nesse is holding on for now. Ground and pound from Pain. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Nesse trying to hold on to Pain's head to control him but Pain postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pain thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Nesse's head. Pain sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Nesse defending well though. Pain is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Pain tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Pain throwing shots but Nesse is blocking nicely. Pain trying to control from half guard but Nesse is working away. Pain tries to stand and escape but Nesse is controlling the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Nesse fails to land with a series of punches.

Nesse holds on tight, trying to prevent any damage. Nesse can't do much from the bottom here. Nesse controls the position for a moment. Pain wants to stand but Nesse has a closed guard, so he can't escape. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Pain decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Pain drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Nesse looking to control.
Pain looking to sit in guard and control but Nesse gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Pain can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Nesse controls the pace.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nesse trying to control but Pain is working from the bottom. Pain thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Devin Pain has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Pain wants to get back to his feet but Nesse passes into half guard.
Pain is not content to let Nesse control the position. Nesse moves into side control, avoiding the strikes from Pain.
Nesse is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Pain is looking for a sweep.
And that's the end of the fight! Devin Pain comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Nesse has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
