Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Tadeski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leon Hope (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Gwen Towbar and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tadeski feints and as Hope raises his hands in defense, Tadeski changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Tadeski is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Hope working a defensive guard but Tadeski manages to pass into side control anyway.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hope is looking to reverse the position.
Tadeski is staying tight to Hope's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Hope sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Hope tries to roll over but Tadeski keeps him under control.

Tadeski wants to pass to mount but Hope is defending the position.
Tadeski thows a huge punch but Hope dodges it nicely.
Hope is trying to maintain the position but Tadeski is very close to passing his half guard.

Tadeski is trying to control. Hope wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Hope is refusing to be controlled, as Tadeski sits in half guard.

Tadeski is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Tadeski escapes and gets back to his feet.

Tadeski changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hope looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Hope is looking for a sweep.
You can see the frustration on Hope's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Tadeski postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Tadeski wants to control but Hope is keeping him busy.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Tadeski is taking a breather. Hope says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Well, if Tadeski is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Tadeski decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

Hope gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Hope is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Jimmy Tadeski just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.

Tadeski shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Tadeski was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Hope tries to strike but it doesn't land.

Leon Hope has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Jimmy Tadeski is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Hope tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Tadeski wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

And that's the end of the fight!
Jimmy Tadeski showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Tadeski has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
