Osborne comes to the cage accompanied by DMX - We Right Here. Wayne Osborne has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Wayne Osborne!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Adam Savage!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Joseph Jones and Franklyn Lucas.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Savage shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Savage trying to advance position but Osborne counters by regaining guard.
Savage is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Savage wants to control from the top but Osborne keeps moving.

Savage stands up and waves to Osborne to follow him.
Osborne looks to land a combination but Savage avoids it well.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Osborne's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Osborne duly obliges.
Savage pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Savage ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Osborne moves away.
Savage finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Osborne gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Savage counters with a takedown into side control.
Osborne is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Osborne makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Osborne.
Osborne has a closed guard, preventing Savage from standing up.
Osborne is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Savage trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Savage's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Osborne keeping full guard, as Savage tries to pass.
Osborne is looking to stand up but Savage isn't so interested in that idea.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Savage lands a couple of digs.
Osborne keeping moving, preventing Savage from controlling successfully.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Savage shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Osborne is trying to defend but Savage finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Osborne tries to get to full guard but Savage has control of the leg.

Savage perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Savage decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Savage throws a chopping leg kick but Osborne manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Savage cracks Osborne with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

and Savage counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Savage.
Savage is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Savage trying to control the position from guard on top but Osborne is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Savage not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Savage working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Savage is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Savage throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Osborne lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Savage circles away quickly and effectively.
Savage fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Savage closes this distance looking for a takedown but Osborne circles away.
Osborne tries to clinch but Savage moves away

and Savage counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Osborne's guard now.
Osborne might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Osborne is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Savage has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Osborne is working away from the top position though.
Adam Savage has got the better of the ground game so far.
Savage tries to roll over but Osborne keeps him under control.

Savage wants to control but Osborne is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Savage flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Savage wants to get back to full guard.
Savage blocking the ground and pound attempt from Osborne.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Osborne misses with a few strikes there.
Savage is trying hard to land a takedown here. Osborne sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Wayne Osborne has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Adam Savage.
Savage pulls out of a head kick attempt.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Savage closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Osborne to the mat! Osborne manages to get full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Savage is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Osborne preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Osborne is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Savage works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Savage thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Osborne to regain full guard.
Osborne utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Savage stands up from Osborne's guard - Savage perhaps looking for a knockout.
Osborne closes the distance looking to clinch

and Savage counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Osborne!
Osborne is trying to escape the mount.
Savage tries to control but Osborne wriggling away.

Savage is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!

Savage darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Savage stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Savage fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Osborne checks it well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Adam Savage showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!


Osborne looks to clinch

and Savage counters with a shoot takedown. Osborne fights it but they end up in guard.

Savage controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Osborne wants to get back to his feet but Savage is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Savage is in close to Osborne's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Savage decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Savage lets loose with a powerful body kick. Osborne will feel that in the morning.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Osborne clinches but Savage breaks the clinch

and Savage counters with a shoot takedown. Osborne fights it but they end up in guard.

Savage gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Osborne throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Savage darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Savage takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Wayne Osborne has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Savage is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Savage not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Savage decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Wayne Osborne seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Savage throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Savage fails with the takedown.
Osborne looks to land a left hand but Savage moved out of range nicely.
Adam Savage is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Savage shoots in and drives through. Osborne sprawls well.

And that's the end of the fight!
Adam Savage comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Savage winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
