The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Thai clinches up against the cage.

Thai is pressed up against the cage. Jackson has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Thai down to the mat. Thai avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Muay Thai dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Thai is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Thai feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Jackson is looking to sinch up a triangle. Thai throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Jackson's body to avoid the submission. Jackson has instead reached around Thai's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Jackson arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
