Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Talsar Vermillion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jones Shane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vermillion comes into the arena with Undead blaring out of the sound system. Shane is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by KARDINAL OFFISHALL 'WE GON GO' . Jones Shane will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Talsar Vermillion! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jones Shane! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Wagner Zegers and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A head kick misses from Shane. Shane clinches up against the cage. Vermillion avoiding damage as Shane throws knees to the body.

Shane is trying to break the clinch but Vermillion is controlling him. Shane is looking to break free of the clinch but Vermillion has double underhooks. Shane misses with a punch to the body.
Vermillion just leaning against Shane, taking a breather. Shane avoiding damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Shane's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Shane is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Vermillion scoring well with a low kick there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shane slips under a jab from Vermillion. Shane closes the distance and clinches. Shane breaks from the clinch.
Shane cracks Vermillion with a good jab. Shane fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Shane moves in looking to clinch but Vermillion pushes him off. Shane tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Vermillion was well out of range. Poor timing from Shane. Shane is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Shane clinches up with Vermillion and pushes him back against the cage. Shane breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Vermillion looks to clinch and Shane counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Vermillion tries to clinch up and Shane counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Shane tries to clinch but Vermillion moves out of range. Shane does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Shane just misses with a punch to the body.
Shane is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Shane ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Vermillion moves away. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Shane. Shane throws a sloppy head kick and Vermillion moves out of range easily. Jones Shane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A jab lands there for Shane.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shane moves into the clinch. Shane breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Shane tries to close the distance and clinch up but Vermillion swats him away and circles back towards the center. Vermillion fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Shane avoids it really well and circles away. Shane scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Shane circles away from the clinch attempt and Shane counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Shane.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Shane breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Shane closes the distance and clinches. Shane lands a body shot in the clinch.

Vermillion tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Shane smiles and moves away.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Shane. Shane swings for the body but Vermillion moves out of range.
Shane has managed to clinch.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Shane has Vermillion pushed against the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jones Shane dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Vermillion wants to stall.

Shane blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Shane cracks Vermillion with a nice body shot. Shane wants to break the clinch but can't.
We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Shane in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Vermillion keeps control of Shane as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Vermillion tries a knee to the head but Shane blocks it.
Shane tries to circle away but Vermillion has him pinned against the cage. Shane breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shane fails with an attempt to clinch.
Vermillion misses with a low kick. Shane clinches. Shane has Vermillion pushed against the cage. Vermillion landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Vermillion has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Shane uses from the top position. Shane makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Shane is in close to Vermillion's body, working some short punches and elbows. Vermillion might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Vermillion bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Shane's guard. Shane scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Vermillion closes the distance but Shane moves to the side and Shane counters with a stiff right hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Vermillion wants to clinch but Shane slips to the side and Shane counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Vermillion is lucky that one didn't land flush. Shane takes the fight into the clinch. Vermillion has Shane pressed against the cage, preventing Shane from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Vermillion tries to stall but Shane uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Shane is looking to break free of the clinch but Vermillion has double underhooks. Shane stalling against the cage.
Shane receives a warning from the referee for stalling. Shane escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shane tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Vermillion tries to bum rush Shane with a series of wild strikes but Shane uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Shane clinches up with Vermillion and pushes him back against the cage. Shane looking to throw knees to the head but Vermillion is blocking nicely.
Vermillion trying to control the position but instead, Shane has worked for underhooks and has pushed Vermillion into the cage. Shane is trying to break the clinch but Vermillion is controlling him. Vermillion tries to pull guard but Shane holds him up against the cage and eventually Vermillion drops back down to his feet.
Shane wants to break the clinch but can't.

Jones Shane showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Shane slaps away a takedown attempt from Vermillion, before circling back to the center of the mat. Shane throws a series of strikes that have Vermillion backpedaling.
Vermillion tries to clinch up and Shane moves into the clinch. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Vermillion blocks an elbow strike from Shane.
Shane gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Shane wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Vermillion has him pressed against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shane pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Jones Shane seems to be getting the better of the standup. Vermillion clinches but Shane breaks the clinch and Shane counters by clinching up. Shane displaying some good clinch control by pressing Vermillion up against the cage. Shane breaks the clinch.
Talsar Vermillion is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Vermillion avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Vermillion takes a kick to the side of the head. Vermillion tries to clinch and Shane holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Shane breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Shane lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Shane has taken the fight to the clinch.
Shane manages to break the clinch.
Shane rushes Vermillion with punches - Vermillion moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Vermillion goes down! Shane follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:25 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jones Shane! Jones Shane retains his lightweight title!
