And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jorge Serptentino!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Elvis Blanc and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Serptentino drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Serptentino tries to advance to mount but Fighter denies him.

Serptentino goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Fighter has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Serptentino but great work by Fighter.
Fighter misses with the ground and pound.
Serptentino is looking for a sweep.
Fighter just content to control the position.

Fighter wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Serptentino, who protects the arm well.
Serptentino wants to control but Fighter postures up.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Fighter goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Serptentino has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Fighter but great work by Serptentino.
Fighter manages to get back to half guard.
Serptentino is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.
Serptentino sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Serptentino trying to control but Fighter is working from the bottom.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Serptentino trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Serptentino wants to control from the top but Fighter keeps moving.
Serptentino tries to free his leg and advance position but Fighter is retaining full guard.
Serptentino trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Fighter scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Fighter staying calm.
Serptentino is trying to get back to half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Fighter tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Serptentino manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Serptentino is trying to stand back up but Fighter is controlling him

Fighter is trying for a kimura here. Serptentino looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Fighter wins by kimura!
