The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lee should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

That's time! Black's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Black throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Lee works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Black drops back, looking for a kneebar! Lee looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Lee looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Lee!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
You can see the frustration on Black's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Lee lands with a kick to the temple. Black shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Lee tries to close the distance and clinch up but Black swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Black moves forwards but Lee connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Lee shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Black defends it nicely.
Lee lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Black closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Black, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
