Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rauno Korpi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexei Kropotkin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kropotkin is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Boy prodolzhaetsya by Ariya. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rauno Korpi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Alexei Kropotkin!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Roosa Järviläinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab lands there for Korpi.
Kropotkin tries to clinch up.
Kropotkin throws a nice outside leg kick.
Kropotkin throws a looping overhand right but Korpi ducks down to avoid it.
Korpi doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Kropotkin throws a leg kick which misses Korpi's front leg but catches the back leg as Korpi tries to avoid it.
Korpi connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Kropotkin throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Korpi throws a nice looking combination but Kropotkin bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Korpi scores with a three punch combo!
A punch lands to the side of Kropotkin 's head but he takes it in his stride.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kropotkin misses with a wild body shot.
Kropotkin misses the shot to the body.
Kropotkin lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Korpi has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Kropotkin.
Korpi is breathing heavily.
A slow jab from Korpi misses its intended target.
A head kick misses from Kropotkin.
Kropotkin tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Korpi paws at him with a jab and circles away.
A nice leg kick lands there from Kropotkin.

Kropotkin clinches with his opponent.
Kropotkin will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Korpi up against the cage.

Korpi wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Kropotkin has him pressed against the cage.
Korpi is trying to break the clinch but Kropotkin has him pressed against the cage.

Kropotkin throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Kropotkin with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Korpi to score with a decent uppercut.

Kropotkin throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

Korpi sizes up Kropotkin with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Korpi lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Korpi ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
A decent looking cross lands there for Korpi.
Kropotkin takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Kropotkin throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

and Kropotkin moves into the clinch.
Kropotkin misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Korpi.
Kropotkin throws an elbow but it misses.
Korpi has had enough of the clinch but Kropotkin keeps him there for the moment.
Kropotkin tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Kropotkin is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Korpi is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

Korpi's corner calls for a 1-2. Korpi obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Kropotkin throws a hook to the side of Korpi's head but Korpi sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Rauno Korpi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kropotkin lunges at Korpi with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Korpi's hand.
Kropotkin drops his hands momentarily and Korpi takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Korpi changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Kropotkin tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Korpi avoids it.
A frustrated look appears on Korpi's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Korpi blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Kropotkin throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Korpi connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Kropotkin tries to clinch there but Korpi circles away.
Korpi works over Kropotkin's head and body with a nice combination.
Korpi is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Kropotkin throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Korpi dips to his left and cracks Kropotkin with an uppercut!

and Korpi counters with a three punch combo that has Kropotkin backing up. Kropotkin nods at Korpi to acknowledge the strikes.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kropotkin is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Korpi throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Rauno Korpi will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Korpi's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Korpi duly obliges.

Kropotkin takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Korpi misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Korpi connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Kropotkin momentarily.

Korpi bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Kropotkin's head backwards.
Kropotkin gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Kropotkin tries to move into range but Korpi moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Kropotkin is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Korpi.

Korpi lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Kropotkin backs up against the cage.
Kropotkin is still on wobbly legs! Can Korpi finish him?
Korpi jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
BOOM! Korpi lands a beautiful left hook that drops Kropotkin. Kropotkin tries to recover but Korpi is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Kropotkin lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:42 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rauno Korpi!
