Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Flavius Aetius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kryler Crimson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Flavius Aetius! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kryler Crimson! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Elvis Blanc and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Crimson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Nice defenses there by Aetius. Crimson scores with a jab to the jaw. Crimson throws a body punch but Aetius moves out of range. Aetius is looking to clinch. Crimson stuffs the takedown attempt from Aetius. Aetius gets slowly back to his feet. Crimson pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Crimson misses with an uppercut. Crimson misses with a looping left. Crimson swats away the attempt to clinch by Aetius. Aetius connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Crimson throws a head kick that misses. Aetius looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Crimson throws a hook but Aetius blocks it. Crimson misses with a looping right. Crimson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Aetius manages to avoid it. Aetius misses with a two punch combination.

and Aetius counters with a nice double leg into side control. Crimson won't be happy with that. Aetius looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Aetius creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Crimson sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Aetius in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Aetius goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Crimson has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Aetius but great work by Crimson.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Crimson working away. Crimson tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Crimson moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Aetius regains half guard. Aetius wants to get back to full guard. Crimson trying to control the pace.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Aetius tries to roll over but Crimson keeps him under control. Aetius moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Aetius isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Crimson stacks Aetius on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Crimson! Aetius looking for a sweep but Crimson has passed into full mount! Oh no!
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Crimson tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Aetius really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

That was a close round but I would say that Flavius Aetius will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Crimson throws a lazy body kick and Aetius counters with a thumping low kick. Aetius staying out of range there. Aetius fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Aetius misses with a low kick as Crimson jumps back. Kryler Crimson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Crimson throws a right and a left that both miss. Aetius lands with a thumping leg kick.

and Aetius counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Crimson is lucky that one didn't land flush. Aetius has Crimson up against the cage in a clinch.
Crimson tries to break free but Aetius pushes him back against the cage. Crimson prevents a takedown attempt there.

That's one minute gone in the round. A shot in the inside from Crimson. Aetius turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Aetius is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Crimson is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Aetius fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Aetius misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Aetius wants to control but Crimson is keeping him busy. Aetius is trying to get an arm triangle but Crimson is defending well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Aetius is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Crimson has escaped the position, nice work there. Aetius is trying to ground and pound but Crimson uses the momentary lack of control by Aetius to regain half guard. Aetius wants to lay and pray for a moment but Crimson keeps working. Crimson keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Aetius is keen to just control but Crimson is a slippery customer. Crimson regains full guard. Nicely done. Aetius drops back, looking for a kneebar! Crimson looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Crimson looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Crimson! Crimson tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Aetius is trying to improve his position. Crimson wants to stand but Aetius is controlling his arm. Aetius trying to control but Crimson flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back! Aetius prevents Crimson from getting a body triangle. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Flavius Aetius dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Aetius throws a nice inside leg kick. Crimson looks to land a combination but Aetius avoids it well. Aetius has a takedown stuffed. A lazy body kick from Crimson and Aetius counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Aetius shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Crimson sprawls well. Crimson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Aetius gets slowly back to his feet. Crimson throws a hook to the side of Aetius's head but Aetius sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Aetius moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Crimson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Crimson takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. A nice leg kick lands there from Aetius. Crimson chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Aetius can pounce on him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Aetius feints and as Crimson raises his hands in defense, Aetius changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Aetius passes into half guard. Aetius is working for a kimura but Crimson is defending it quite comfortably.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Crimson is trying to stand.

Aetius throwing shots but Crimson is blocking nicely. Crimson is trying to maintain the position but Aetius is very close to passing his half guard. Crimson slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Crimson keeping moving, preventing Aetius from controlling successfully. Aetius is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Crimson is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Aetius landing with the ground and pound. Aetius drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Crimson manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Aetius has Crimson in his guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Crimson is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Aetius looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Flavius Aetius is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Crimson postures up.
