Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between William Dang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anderson Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, William Dang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Anderson Silva!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Gregory Folan and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dang gets the takedown into side control.
Dang sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Silva is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

Dang goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Silva rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Dang's guard! Nice work there by Silva!
Silva with a flurry of punches that miss.
Silva wants to pass the guard but Dang is keeping the position.
Dang looking for a sweep. Not yet Dang, not yet.
Silva is looking to work some ground and pound but Dang has wrist control.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Silva throws a big right hand that misses.
Silva throwing strikes from guard but Dang blocks nicely.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Silva lands a high kick!
Some wild striking there from Silva.
A good leg kick by Silva.
Anderson Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Dang scores a takedown into full mount!
Dang thowing shots but they're missing.
Dang throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Dang is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Silva has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Silva!

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Silva postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Dang is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Silva, into his guard.
Dang working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Dang could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Silva working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Dang.

Dang trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Dang drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Silva dives on top into guard.
Dang is breathing heavily.
Dang working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Silva.
Silva trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Dang avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Silva trying to control the position from guard on top but Dang is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Silva drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Silva jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Silva trying to control but Dang is working from the bottom.
Dang has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Silva keeps Dang at a distance using the push kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Anderson Silva dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Silva lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Silva fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Dang.
Dang shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Silva as he jumps to the side.
A nice combination there by Silva.
Dang takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
This has been an exciting period of action!
Silva scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Silva lands with a right hand.
Silva lands with a hook. Dang tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Silva's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Silva duly obliges.
Silva lands a nice looking body kick.
Anderson Silva seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Dang takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Silva keeps Dang at a distance using the push kick.
A good leg kick by Silva.
Silva lands a jab-cross combination.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Silva lands a high kick!


Dang is rocked!
Silva is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Dang hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:04 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Anderson Silva!
