The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hammarstroem defends well against a solid takedown attempt from KASHA.
Hammarstroem looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Hammarstroem displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from KASHA.
Hammarstroem drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
KASHA tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Cpjan Hammarstroem has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of BOOYA KASHA.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Hammarstroem is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but KASHA is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
KASHA shoots in looking for a takedown. Hammarstroem tries to sprawl out of it but KASHA keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hammarstroem manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

That was a close round but I would say that Cpjan Hammarstroem will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

KASHA has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Hammarstroem. Oh but KASHA has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Hammarstroem goes limp - he's gone! KASHA jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
