The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Simpson.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Jackson, as that shot connected.
Jackson throws a right and a left that Simpson avoids nicely.

Simpson shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Simpson was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Simpson wants to control the pace but Jackson is squirming around nicely.

Simpson goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Jackson turns into him and now he's in Simpson's guard.

Jackson is fighting to break Simpson's control of his arms but Simpson is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Jackson wanted to stand there but Simpson had control of the position.

Simpson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jackson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Simpson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jackson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jackson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
