Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Timmy Derkson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alkaline Solo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Solo has chosen Radio as his entrance music. Alkaline Solo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Timmy Derkson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alkaline Solo!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Chris Downing and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Solo shoots in and drives through. Derkson sprawls well.
Solo shoots for a double leg takedown but Derkson sprawls well. He's pushed Solo's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Derkson tries to clinch up.
Solo keeps the fight on the outside.
Nice sprawl there from Derkson as Solo shoots in.
Timmy Derkson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alkaline Solo.

Derkson has taken the fight to the clinch.

Solo has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Derkson is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Solo has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Derkson uses from the top position.

Derkson shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Derkson showed some decent athleticism there.

The fight stays on the outside here - Derkson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Derkson is looking to clinch but Solo is avoiding it.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Solo jumps guard and drags Derkson to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Solo wants to stand and escape but Derkson is having none of it.
Solo is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Solo is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Derkson knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Derkson for a finish.

Derkson is covering up but some of the strikes from Solo are getting through and doing damage.

Solo seems to be going for a rear naked choke. He has an arm under Derkson's chin but Derkson turns very nicely into Solo's guard. Good BJJ skills being displayed there by Derkson.

Derkson avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Solo has his foot on Derkson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Derkson works his way back into a safe position though.

Alkaline Solo showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Solo shoots in looking for a takedown. Derkson tries to sprawl out of it but Solo keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Derkson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Solo accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Solo is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Alkaline Solo comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Solo has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
