Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bot Botanovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tourette Syndrome (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bot Botanovic! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tourette Syndrome! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, William Peck and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Syndrome throws a nice looking combination but Botanovic bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Syndrome misses with a jab, cross combination.
Botanovic throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Syndrome. A chopping leg kick lands by Botanovic. Syndrome misses with the combination.
Syndrome waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Botanovic. Syndrome scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Botanovic doesn't seem bothered though. Syndrome moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. No joy there for Syndrome, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Nice body punch from Syndrome. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Syndrome misses with the combination.
Syndrome cracks a nice hook into Botanovic's ribs. Syndrome takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Botanovic tries for a takedown but Syndrome sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Botanovic tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Tourette Syndrome seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Syndrome on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Syndrome looks gassed! An inside leg kick lands from Botanovic. Botanovic throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Botanovic buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

That's one minute gone in the round. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Botanovic.

Botanovic gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Botanovic tries a knee to the head but Syndrome blocks it.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Botanovic. Botanovic tries for a kimura but Syndrome is defending well. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! That's two minutes gone in the round. Syndrome is looking for a sweep. Syndrome takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Botanovic is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Syndrome is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Botanovic tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Botanovic has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Botanovic working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Syndrome gets back to half guard. Botanovic not landing any meaningful shots this time. Botanovic is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Syndrome doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Botanovic. Botanovic thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Syndrome's head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Syndrome keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Botanovic is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Syndrome is trying to maintain the position but Botanovic is very close to passing his half guard. Botanovic throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Botanovic is actively looking for submissions here but good counter grappling here from Syndrome as he works his way to full guard.
Syndrome working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Botanovic doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Botanovic manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Syndrome controls Botanovic momentarily but Botanovic frees himself. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bot Botanovic dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Syndrome rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Botanovic moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Botanovic thuds his shin into the meat of Syndrome's side. Syndrome takes a swing at Botanovic's ribcage but misses. Botanovic throws a leg kick which misses Syndrome's front leg but catches the back leg as Syndrome tries to avoid it. Botanovic shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Syndrome as he jumps to the side. Botanovic throws a leg kick which misses Syndrome's front leg but catches the back leg as Syndrome tries to avoid it. Syndrome misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Botanovic.
Botanovic scores a takedown into full mount! Botanovic is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Syndrome is surviving well by controlling Botanovic's body position as best he can. Botanovic looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Botanovic has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! Syndrome is forced to tap!
