Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alpha Mc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay jay Icmat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mc comes to the cage accompanied by ser. Icmat has chosen next episode as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mc tries to bum rush Icmat with a series of wild strikes but Icmat uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Mc misses with a low kick.
Mc throws a head kick that Icmat semi-blocks.

It looks like Jay jay Icmat has been cut.
Mc throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Icmat.
Icmat tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Mc swivels and escapes.
Alpha Mc seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Icmat will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Mc tries to clinch up but Icmat circles away and keeps his distance.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Icmat is just content to waste time from the top position. Mc takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Icmat stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mc swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Icmat changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Mc looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Icmat is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
The fighters are battling for position here. Mc manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
