Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Renan Andrade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kirill Petrov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kirill Petrov!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Aleksandr Martynov and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petrov uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Andrade.
Petrov swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Petrov throws a right and a left that Andrade avoids nicely.
Petrov drives through with a takedown into guard.
Andrade wants to sweep but no luck.
Andrade keeping moving, preventing Petrov from controlling successfully.
Andrade utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Andrade looking for a sweep. Not yet Andrade, not yet.
Petrov trying to control but Andrade is working from the bottom.
Andrade is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Petrov is trying to control but can't.

Petrov looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Andrade has picked Petrov up and slammed him! Petrov can't keep hold of the triangle and Andrade manages to pass to side control!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Andrade tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Petrov is looking for a sweep.
Andrade decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Andrade takes a swing at Petrov's ribcage but misses.
A jab from Andrade finds it's way through Petrov's defenses.
Petrov looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Andrade!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Petrov tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Petrov is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Andrade can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Petrov is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Andrade can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Kirill Petrov dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Andrade lands a really nice looking cross but Petrov seems unphased.
Petrov shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Andrade napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Andrade is trying to improve his position.
Petrov scores with a couple of short elbows.
Andrade tries to buck Petrov off but Petrov is having none of it.

Petrov might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Andrade kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Andrade controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.

Well, with Petrov on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Andrade is tapping out... Can he escape the position?

Petrov really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Andrade.

The fighters are battling for position here. Andrade manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Petrov is pushing down on Andrade's leg trying to pass to half guard. Andrade is fighting to maintain full guard but Petrov has managed to sneak the leg through.
Andrade is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Petrov seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Andrade does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Petrov is trying to work for a kimura but Andrade is defending well.
Andrade is trying is best to control the position here.
Petrov wants to lay and pray for a moment but Andrade keeps working.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Andrade tries to roll over but Petrov keeps him under control.
Andrade is trying to stand up here but Petrov is controlling him well.
Petrov is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Andrade is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
