Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between thick legg mcgee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leando Almeida Junior (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Saam Ante and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
mcgee looks for a takedown but Almeida Junior sprawls well.
Almeida Junior shoots in looking for a takedown. mcgee tries to sprawl out of it but Almeida Junior keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. mcgee manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

mcgee takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

mcgee has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. mcgee connects with a nice short shot to Almeida Junior's temple.
