Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Phil Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bailey Hendricks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stone comes to the cage accompanied by 2001 Space Odissey/Blow me away (Breaking Benjamin) combo. Bailey Hendricks has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Phil Stone's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Phil Stone! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bailey Hendricks! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Albert Achterberg and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hendricks wants to clinch. Stone wants to clinch. Stone shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hendricks as he avoids it easily. Hendricks clinches but Stone breaks the clinch and Stone counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Stone thows a big elbow that misses. Hendricks is looking to stand up but Stone isn't so interested in that idea. Stone throws a strike but Hendricks rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Hendricks must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stone had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hendricks defends it easily. Stone has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hendricks can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Stone has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Hendricks got a little sloppy there for a moment and Stone has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hendricks has managed to get both his arms back between Stone's legs - danger averted. Stone throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Stone throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Hendricks escapes and throws Stone's legs to the side, diving into side control! Stone tries to buck Hendricks off but Hendricks is having none of it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hendricks has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Hendricks tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Stone counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stone is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Hendricks sees it coming and defends easily. Stone is looking for a kimura here.
Stone wants to pass to mount but Hendricks is defending the position. Stone seems to be looking for submissions.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Stone stops Hendricks from getting back to his feet.
Stone trying to control from Hendricks's half guard. Hendricks has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Hendricks keeping full guard, as Stone tries to pass. Stone advances to half guard. Stone thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Hendricks's head. Stone trying to control from half guard but Hendricks is working away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Phil Stone dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Stone closes the distance and clinches up with Hendricks, looking for a takedown. Stone pushes Hendricks against the cage but Hendricks circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Stone gets the takedown into side control. Hendricks trying to remain calm as Stone controls from the top position. Stone wants to control but Hendricks is keeping him busy. Stone working the strikes but Hendricks uses the opportunity to regain half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stone stalling away here and it's allowed Hendricks to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Stone wants to control from the top but Hendricks keeps moving. Stone showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Stone loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Stone wants to control from the top but Hendricks keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Phil Stone just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Stone closes the distance but Hendricks moves to the side and Hendricks holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Stone keeps control of Hendricks as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Hendricks creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Stone jumps guard.
Hendricks is posturing up here but Stone has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Hendricks tries to roll out but it's too tight and Hendricks has to tap! Slick submission there by Stone!
