The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Sergei Dronov and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Candystore stuffs the takedown.
Sonnen fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Candystore drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Candystore throwing shots but missing, from side control.
Candystore looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Sonnen is avoiding damage well.
Candystore wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sonnen keeps working.
Sonnen sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Sonnen is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Candystore pulls his head out easily.
Candystore really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sonnen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Candystore wants to work for an arm triangle but Sonnen is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Sonnen is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Candystore frees his head nicely. Oh but Sonnen has switched to an armbar! Candystore is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
