The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Overeem stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Vukovic.
Vukovic throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

It looks like Alistair Overeem has been cut.
Vukovic throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Vukovic throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Vukovic lands a head kick. Overeem smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Overeem is rocked!
Vukovic feints a jab and as Overeem dips his head, Vukovic unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Overeem right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Overeem falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Vukovic smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.
