Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Connor Peevor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Golds Lord Gamma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Aleksandr Martynov and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lord Gamma shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Peevor is trying to defend but Lord Gamma finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Peevor might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Peevor is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Peevor is refusing to be controlled, as Lord Gamma sits in half guard.
Lord Gamma prevents Peevor from improving his position.
It looks like Lord Gamma is going to stand back up.

Lord Gamma is pressing down on Peevor's thigh, looking to free his foot. Peevor is holding on for now.

Lord Gamma misses with a takedown attempt - Peevor sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Peevor looks to land a combination but Lord Gamma avoids it well.

Peevor drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Lord Gamma is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Peevor tries to stand but Lord Gamma is controlling from the bottom.
Lord Gamma scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Peevor has his takedown stuffed
and Lord Gamma counters with a nice double leg into side control. Peevor won't be happy with that.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
You can see the frustration on Peevor's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

A close round but Golds Lord Gamma will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Peevor is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Lord Gamma's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Peevor wants to control but Lord Gamma passes into side.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Peevor is looking to regain half guard here but Lord Gamma keeps moving and retains side control.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Lord Gamma stands up and beckons Peevor to his feet.
Lord Gamma gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Lord Gamma is working for a guillotine from mount but Peevor frees his head quite easily.
Lord Gamma can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Peevor is looking to escape.
Lord Gamma landing strikes from the mount and Peevor is in trouble!

Golds Lord Gamma showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Peevor's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Peevor cracks Lord Gamma with an open hand slap.
Connor Peevor is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Peevor bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Lord Gamma wants to control but Peevor postures up.
Lord Gamma prevents Peevor from moving into mount.
Peevor knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lord Gamma on the ground.
Lord Gamma is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Peevor off and has taken his back!
Lord Gamma connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Peevor to escape the position.
Peevor is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Lord Gamma looking to break Peevor's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Peevor remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Lord Gamma will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Lord Gamma is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Peevor is defending well though. Lord Gamma let's go of the attempt for now.

Peevor is trapped and Lord Gamma is scoring with shots to the head and body.
Peevor just trying to survive but Lord Gamma is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
Lord Gamma is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Peevor. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Peevor is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Lord Gamma gets his way!

Lord Gamma lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Lord Gamma.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
