Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jorge Rodriguez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Wisco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rodriguez comes to the cage accompanied by Never To Late. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jorge Rodriguez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Matt Wisco! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Frank Dennis and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wisco throws a half hearted mid kick. Wisco cracks Rodriguez with an open hand slap. Wisco throws a body kick that misses. Wisco throws a right and a left that Rodriguez avoids nicely. A big right from Rodriguez misses. Rodriguez connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Wisco throws the kick towards the body but Rodriguez avoids it. Rodriguez is looking to clinch. Rodriguez could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Rodriguez throws the kick towards the body but Wisco avoids it. Wisco pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Rodriguez tries to clinch up but Wisco circles away and keeps his distance. Wisco circles away from the clinch attempt.
The fight stays on the outside here - Rodriguez looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Rodriguez steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Wisco. That one must have hurt. Wisco misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Rodriguez closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Wisco takes a knee right on the jaw!

Wisco wants to control but Rodriguez is keeping busy and won't allow it. Rodriguez thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Wisco's head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wisco wants to control but Rodriguez passes into side.

Rodriguez is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. Rodriguez manages to get to his feet, escaping the difficult position. Wisco lands a body shot.
