Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mikhail Kopylov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mankee King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mankee King will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mikhail Kopylov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mankee King! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Damien Edna and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kopylov sets himself and throws a head kick that knocks King to the ground! Kopylov dives into full mount looking to finish!
King is rocked!
It looks like Mankee King has been cut. Kopylov looking to secure an arm triangle but King defends it well. King is still in real trouble! Can Kopylov finish him? Kopylov swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and King is now in Kopylov's guard. A big mistake from Kopylov there, giving up the dominant position! King really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kopylov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Kopylov bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in King's guard. King seems to have recovered his senses. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! King preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Kopylov looking to pass the guard. Kopylov is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! King is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! King has escaped and now he's on top! King looking to pass the guard. Kopylov keeping moving, preventing King from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kopylov manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. King manages to get himself to full guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kopylov accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Kopylov throws a strike but King rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Kopylov had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. King defends it easily. Kopylov might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Kopylov is breathing heavily. Kopylov being controlled here, momentarily. Kopylov could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Hammerfist, elbow! yells King's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Kopylov has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. King won't allow Kopylov to sweep him here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. King stands up over Kopylov, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. King's corner is telling him to maintain position. King must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Kopylov throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
King seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. King is in close to Kopylov's body, working some short punches and elbows. King stays in close to Kopylov's body and controls the position. Kopylov keeping full guard, as King tries to pass. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kopylov working for submissions but it's allowed King to get to half guard.
Kopylov is trying to defend against the ground and pound but King scores with a couple of nice shots.
That's three minutes gone in the round. King scores with a couple of good hammerfists. King controlling the action here. Kopylov is trying to get back to full guard. King slips a nice elbow through Kopylov's hands, connecting with Kopylov's forehead. King wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kopylov keeps working. King perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. King is looking to take a break and control but Kopylov is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. King might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Kopylov kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. King landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. King scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Kopylov is trying to improve his position. Kopylov gets back to half guard. Kopylov manages to get to full guard.
Kopylov looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but King is defending well. Kopylov quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! King has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Kopylov celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
