Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bonza Banks! The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Eliza Hachem and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rodriguez tries to clinch but Banks moves out of range. Rodriguez takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Rodriguez fails in his attempt to clinch. Banks lands with a cross. Banks closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Rodriguez did well to prevent Banks getting side control. Rodriguez wants to get back to his feet.
Rodriguez trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Banks winds up and cracks Rodriguez with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Banks is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Banks lands strikes from half guard. Banks has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Banks controlling from the full mount. Rodriguez is trying to stand up. Rodriguez is breathing heavily. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Banks lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
You get the feeling that Rodriguez really doesn't like being in this position too much.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Banks unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Rodriguez wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Banks celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
