Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Eliza Hachem and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodriguez tries to clinch but Banks moves out of range.
Rodriguez takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Banks closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Rodriguez did well to prevent Banks getting side control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Banks winds up and cracks Rodriguez with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Banks shoots in looking for a takedown. Rodriguez tries to sprawl out of it but Banks keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Rodriguez manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Banks lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
You get the feeling that Rodriguez really doesn't like being in this position too much.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Banks unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Rodriguez wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Banks celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
