Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Roger Panzer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Doe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Roger Panzer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, John Doe! The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Chad Campbell and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice jab there from Panzer. Panzer looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Panzer misses with a takedown attempt - Doe sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Panzer bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Panzer controls the position. Panzer scores with a couple of short elbows. Panzer taking a break here but Doe is having none of it and regains half guard. Doe tries to roll over but Panzer keeps him under control. Doe is trying to stand up here but Panzer is controlling him well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Panzer is just content to waste time from the top position. Doe takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Doe avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Doe wants to get back to his feet but Panzer is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Panzer is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Panzer trying to move into half guard but instead Doe has managed to sweep!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Doe decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Panzer fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Doe throws a left that rocks Panzer and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Doe dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Panzer regain composure!
It looks like Roger Panzer has been cut. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Panzer is breathing heavily. Doe lands an elbow. Check out the look on Doe's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Doe has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Panzer fails with an attempt to clinch.
A punch combination from Doe misses. Doe throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Panzer sees it coming and avoids it easily. Doe paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Doe bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Panzer! He dives into his guard looking to finish!
Panzer is rocked! Doe is in close to Panzer's body, working some short punches and elbows. Oh Panzer is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Doe is looking to stand up but Panzer won't let him. Panzer seems to have got his legs back now. Doe postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Doe scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Doe working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Doe connects with a couple of short punches. Doe is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Panzer trying to control the position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Panzer avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Doe looks to throw the jab but Panzer is out of range. The fight stays on the outside here - Panzer looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Panzer wants to clinch. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Doe punishes Panzer's body with a nice straight punch. Doe loads up on a big right hand but Panzer slips the punch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

and Panzer counters with a series of strikes. Doe will be more careful next time no doubt. Panzer ducks under a wild hook from Doe. Panzer fails with a takedown attempt. Doe throws a jab when Panzer was well out of range. Panzer throws a right hand that Doe ducks under and follows up with a left that Doe also avoids with ease. Panzer swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Panzer steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Doe. Panzer gets the takedown into side control. Doe is trying to buck Panzer off. Panzer is trying to ground and pound but Doe uses the momentary lack of control by Panzer to regain half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Panzer is keen to just control but Doe is a slippery customer. Panzer is just content to waste time from the top position. Doe takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Panzer prevents Doe from getting back to his feet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Doe wriggles free and stands up. Panzer showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Doe.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Doe connects with a looping right hand.
Doe lands with a kick to the temple. Panzer shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" A punch combination from Doe misses. Doe throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Doe throws a hook to the side of Panzer's head but Panzer sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Doe is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Panzer. Doe throws a nice looking combination but Panzer bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Panzer has a takedown stuffed. Doe throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Roger Panzer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Panzer fails with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Roger Panzer. That's going to take a lot out of him. Doe stalks Panzer and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Panzer's face. Panzer staggers backwards, shaken. Panzer tries to clinch up. Doe might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Doe throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Panzer drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Doe dives on top into guard. Doe passes easily into side control. Nice work. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Doe showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Roger Panzer's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Panzer throws a solid leg kick but Doe takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Panzer. Panzer staying out of range there. Doe lands a nice shot that snaps Panzer's head back.
Roger Panzer is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Panzer closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Doe did well to prevent Panzer getting side control. Panzer lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Panzer is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Doe kicks Panzer off and gets back to his feet. Panzer defending well as Doe loads up on a big left hand. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Panzer fails with the takedown.

Doe takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Panzer takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Doe misses with a double jab.
Doe looks to throw the jab but Panzer is out of range. John Doe seems to be getting the better of the standup. Panzer moves away from the strike by Doe. Panzer bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Doe misses with an uppercut. Panzer misses with a two punch combination.

Doe throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Panzer's head. Panzer goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Doe falls off balance throwing a combination
and Panzer counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Panzer scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Panzer tries to pass the half guard into mount. Doe knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Panzer gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Panzer is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Panzer avoids a punch combination nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Doe lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Panzer circles away quickly and effectively. Nice sprawl there from Doe as Panzer shoots in. Doe will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

and Panzer makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Doe throws a hook to the side of Panzer's head but Panzer sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Doe swats away the attempt to clinch by Panzer. Doe's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Doe duly obliges. Doe throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Doe looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Doe throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Panzer scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Panzer controlling the position from side mount. Panzer working the ground and pound from side control.
And that's the end of the fight! Roger Panzer showed his dominance in that final round. I think Doe has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
