Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Charlie Kent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lt Parrotface (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Charlie Kent! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Lt Parrotface! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Colin Fotheringham and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Parrotface tries to clinch up. Parrotface tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kent swats him away and circles back towards the center. Kent looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Parrotface is fending him off so far but Kent persists. Nope, Parrotface circles away and we're back to standing. Kent throws a leg kick but Parrotface sees it coming and checks it nicely. Kent moves into the clinch. Parrotface displaying some good clinch control by pressing Kent up against the cage. Kent's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Parrotface lands with a right to the head. Parrotface lands a right hand. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Parrotface lands a nice uppercut. Kent fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Parrotface blocks a body shot from Kent. Parrotface is leaning against Kent and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Parrotface lands with a short shot to the head. Parrotface scores a nice knee to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kent wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Parrotface has him pressed against the cage. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. A short right from Parrotface on the inside. Parrotface prevents Kent from breaking the clinch. Parrotface creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Kent's defenses. Kent is breathing heavily. Kent takes a knee right on the jaw!
Parrotface scores with a shoulder strike. A short left from Parrotface. Kent tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Parrotface just stands there and leans against the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Charlie Kent. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kent tries to pull guard but Parrotface holds him up against the cage and eventually Kent drops back down to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Parrotface gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
It looks like Charlie Kent has been cut. Parrotface digs a right hand into Kent's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Kent's gas tank. Kent drops down looking for an ankle pick but Parrotface pulls his leg out and moves away.
Kent has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Parrotface finds it's way round the side to connect with Kent's head. Parrotface misses with a series of wild punches.
Parrotface closes the distance and clinches. Parrotface utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. Kent takes an elbow to the temple. Parrotface taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on Parrotface's back here. They're not happy about his lack of aggression in the clinch. Nice elbow from Parrotface. Parrotface breaks from the clinch.
Parrotface drives through and clinches with Kent against the cage.
Parrotface breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Kent misses with a body kick. A left and a right from Parrotface both land. Nice combination. Parrotface wants to clinch and Kent makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Parrotface throws a sloppy head kick and Kent moves out of range easily. Kent is trying hard to land a takedown here. Parrotface sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Parrotface has taken the fight to the clinch.
Parrotface lands a knee to the head.
Kent jumps guard but Parrotface stands there with Kent around his waist. Kent gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Parrotface is pressed up against the cage. Kent has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Parrotface down to the mat. Parrotface avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Parrotface has closed the distance and engaged Kent in a clinch.
Kent pulls guard. Kent tries to land a sweep but no joy. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kent keeping full guard, as Parrotface tries to pass. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lt Parrotface dominated that round. The cut man is working on Charlie Kent's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Kent doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Kent shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Parrotface but Parrotface pushes him off and we're back to square one. Parrotface swinging wildly here.

Kent throws a push kick but Parrotface slaps the foot to one side. Kent avoids a punch combination nicely.
Kent throws a leg kick but Parrotface checks it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kent will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Kent misses with a low kick. Parrotface moves into range and clinches up with Kent. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Parrotface leaning against his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Parrotface breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Parrotface moves in looking to clinch but Kent pushes him off. Parrotface avoids the head kick by Kent.

Parrotface tries to clinch up but Kent circles away and keeps his distance. Lt Parrotface is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Kent closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Kent in particular looking to stall. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Parrotface taking some punishment here, with Kent in his half guard. Kent is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Parrotface has managed to free his arm - good work. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kent throwing shots but Parrotface is blocking nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kent throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. It looks like Kent is going to stand back up.
Kent sitting and controlling from the half guard. Kent is trying to control. Parrotface wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Parrotface is trying to stand.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Parrotface tries to clinch but Kent moves out of range. The fight stays on the outside here - Kent looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Parrotface lands with a kick to the temple. Kent shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kent misses with a wild body shot. Kent avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Kent looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Lt Parrotface seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A punch combination from Kent misses. Parrotface throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Kent tries to close the distance and clinch up but Parrotface swats him away and circles back towards the center. Parrotface tries to clinch but Kent is having none of it. Kent takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Parrotface unloads a knee to the mid-section. Kent lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Kent tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Kent throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Parrotface stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Parrotface wants it to stay on the feet. Kent shoots for a double leg takedown but Parrotface sprawls well. He's pushed Kent's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Parrotface leaves Kent with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lt Parrotface showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Charlie Kent's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Kent fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Kent crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Parrotface - the referee stops the clock and Kent gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Parrotface. Kent manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Parrotface throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Parrotface moves into the clinch successfully.

Lt Parrotface seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far. Parrotface receives a warning from the referee for stalling. Charlie Kent has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's three minutes gone in the round. The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Lt Parrotface. Parrotface pushes Kent up against the cage in a clinch. Kent drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Kent tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Parrotface smiles and moves away.

Kent feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Kent throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Parrotface keeping moving, preventing Kent from controlling successfully. Kent lands a couple of digs. Lt Parrotface is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Parrotface wants to stand but Kent is controlling the position. Kent might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Kent trying to control but Parrotface is working from the bottom. Kent is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Parrotface has his feet on Kent's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Kent misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
And that's the end of the fight! Lt Parrotface comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Parrotface winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
