Crusher comes to the cage accompanied by This is the END of your CAREER!!. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bone Crusher!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sidney Crosby!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shirou Masuda.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Crosby does no damage.

Crosby has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Crusher can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Crusher drops back looking for a leg! Crosby is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Crosby manages to kick Crusher off! Crusher jumps back into Crosby's guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Crosby isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Crusher stacks Crosby on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Crusher!

Crusher throws an elbow but Crosby slips to the side and avoids it well.

Crusher is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Crosby knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

That was a close round but I would say that Bone Crusher will probably get the nod.

Crosby throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Crusher sees it coming and avoids it easily.

so Crusher counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Crosby throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Crosby throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Crusher is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Crosby is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Crosby has escaped and now he's on top!

Crusher's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Crosby postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Crusher looks a forlorn figure.

Crusher is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Crosby has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Crusher jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Crosby is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Crosby and Crusher has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Crosby can't do much from the bottom here.
Crosby tries to bench press Crusher off him but Crusher keeps the position.

The ground and pound from Crusher seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Crosby is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Crusher off and has taken his back!
Crusher tries to escape but Crosby has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
Crusher is trapped and Crosby is scoring with shots to the head and body.
Crusher covers up after that shot from Crosby.
Crosby is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Crosby gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Crosby gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Crosby apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Crusher bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Crusher dives in and grabs Crosby's left leg, looking for a takedown. Crosby pushes down on Crusher's head and hops out.
Crosby throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Crusher counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Crusher in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Crusher wants to pass the guard but Crosby is keeping the position.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Crosby is on top in guard.

It's got to the stage where if one of these guys blows hard enough, the other might fall over.
Crosby stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Crusher swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Crosby drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Crusher manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Crosby has Crusher in his guard.

Crusher throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Crosby works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Crusher seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Crosby is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
