Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Helio Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vitor Belfort (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Belfort is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Empire State of Mind. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Paulo Santos and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Gracie is defended easily by Belfort.
Gracie slips under a jab from Belfort.
Gracie dodges the punch combination from Belfort.
Gracie ducks under a wild hook from Belfort.
Gracie fails with the takedown.
Belfort throws a right and a left that Gracie avoids nicely.
Belfort clobbers Gracie with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
It looks like Helio Gracie has been cut.
Vitor Belfort seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Belfort throws a series of punches but Gracie avoids them all with ease.
Belfort tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Gracie was well out of range. Poor timing from Belfort.
Gracie ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Belfort scores with a nice head shot.
Gracie defending well as Belfort loads up on a big left hand.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Gracie is defended easily by Belfort.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Helio Gracie. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Gracie throws a head kick but Belfort moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Belfort lands a left and a right that send Gracie crashing to the mat, dazed. Belfort thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Gracie is rocked!
Belfort circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Gracie to the canvas! Gracie doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Belfort keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Vitor Belfort!
