Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hitoshi Matsumoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Baka Suigetsu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Matsumoto comes to the cage accompanied by Otep - Blood Pigs. Suigetsu has chosen Aristocrats Symphony as his entrance music. Baka Suigetsu is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hitoshi Matsumoto!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Baka Suigetsu!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Suigetsu throws a right and a left that Matsumoto avoids nicely.
Matsumoto closes the distance and pushes Suigetsu back into the cage.

Suigetsu postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Matsumoto is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Suigetsu, into his guard.

Matsumoto drops back, looking for a kneebar! Suigetsu looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Suigetsu looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Suigetsu!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Matsumoto takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Suigetsu wants to control but Matsumoto is keeping him busy.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Matsumoto can't do much from the bottom here.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Matsumoto, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
