Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Seymour Skinner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sultan Seama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Seymour Skinner has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Seymour Skinner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sultan Seama!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Steve Erwin and Winston Howard.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Seama tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Skinner paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Seama throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Skinner sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Skinner shoots in for a takedown but Seama shows good takedown defense.
Some wild striking there from Seama.
Skinner is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Skinner misses with a wild combination.
Seama tries a head kick but it misses.
Skinner ducks under a wild hook from Seama.
Skinner changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Seama tries to avoid it but Skinner manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Seama to the ground. Seama escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
The fight stays on the outside here - Skinner looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Skinner blocks the body kick.
Skinner pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Seama avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Seama is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Skinner defending well as Seama loads up on a big left hand.
Seama throws a sloppy head kick and Skinner moves out of range easily.
Skinner fails to land with a series of punches.
Skinner bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Skinner throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Seama misses with a hook.
Skinner throws a half hearted mid kick.
Skinner is breathing heavily.
Seama throws an overhand right that lands on Skinner's shoulder, as Skinner tries to avoid the shot.

Skinner throws a head kick that half lands.
Skinner scoring well with a low kick there.
Skinner uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Seama.
Sultan Seama seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Seama feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Seama is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Skinner doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Seama.

Skinner throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Skinner is trying to stand.

Seama is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Skinner is trying to maintain the position but Seama is very close to passing his half guard.

Skinner won't allow Seama to pass to mount.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.

and Skinner counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Skinner keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Skinner tries to clinch up but Seama circles away and keeps his distance.
Seama tests Skinner's chin there with a solid looking shot.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Skinner instigates a clinch.

Skinner jumps into guard, dragging Seama to the mat.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Skinner has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Seama off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
A solid leg kick lands there for Skinner.
Skinner connects with a high kick.

Skinner gets the takedown into side control.

Skinner is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Seama is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Seama manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Skinner might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Seama is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Skinner defends it well.
Seama lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Seama moves nicely into side control.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Skinner is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Seama's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Seama looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Skinner wants to get back to his feet.
Skinner is looking to control Seama's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Skinner avoid being mounted?
Seama wants to pass to mount but Skinner is defending the position.
Skinner gets full guard.
Seama slips nicely into half guard.

Seama is trying for a kimura here. Skinner looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Seama wins by kimura!
