The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Vladimir Khabensky and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lusins closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Lusins goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Demidko rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Lusins's guard! Nice work there by Demidko!
Demidko must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Demidko is pushing down on Lusins's leg trying to pass to half guard. Lusins is fighting to maintain full guard but Demidko has managed to sneak the leg through.
Lusins tries to roll over but Demidko keeps him under control.
Lusins has a hand on Demidko's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Demidko takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

Demidko manages to capitalize on a mistake by Lusins to take his back!
Lusins turns into Demidko and is now in his guard.
Demidko is trying to control the position but Lusins postures up.
Lusins trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Lusins has gone for a leg lock! Demidko slips out almost immediately though and dives into Lusins's guard.
Lusins is breathing heavily.
Demidko is stalling in the full guard.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Lusins looking for a guillotine here but Demidko defends easily.
Demidko avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Demidko wants to control from the top but Lusins keeps moving.

Lusins looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Demidko passes into half guard.
Lusins is looking for a sweep. Demidko is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Demidko is trying to control. Lusins wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Demidko in particular looking to stall.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Lusins is staying active underneath Demidko, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Demidko has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Demidko can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Lusins is looking to escape.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Lusins decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Lusins is looking to advance position but Demidko won't allow it.

Demidko manages to get to full guard.

Lusins prevents Demidko from getting back to his feet.
Lusins is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Demidko is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Demidko has escaped and now he's on top!
Lusins is looking to sinch up a triangle. Demidko throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Lusins's body to avoid the submission. Lusins has instead reached around Demidko's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Lusins arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
