Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mike Daniels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Piroz Kianersi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mike Daniels! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Piroz Kianersi! The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Sergei Dronov and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Daniels fails with an attempt to clinch.
Daniels darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Daniels trying to pass the guard but Kianersi defending well. Daniels is looking to take a break and control but Kianersi is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Daniels seems to be working for a kimura but Kianersi defends the submission attempt. Daniels passes the guard and advances to mount! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kianersi tries to hold on but Daniels pushes him away. Kianersi is working to get back to half guard.

Daniels has hold of Kianersi's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Kianersi manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Daniels jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Kianersi manages to avoid the submission attempt. Daniels wants to control but Kianersi is keeping him busy.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Daniels fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Kianersi sprawls well initially but Daniels persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Daniels trying to control from half guard but Kianersi is working away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kianersi has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Daniels is breathing heavily. Daniels trying to pass the guard but Kianersi defending well. Kianersi really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Daniels. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Kianersi is looking to control Daniels's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Kianersi avoid being mounted? The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Daniels works his foot free and advances to mount. Kianersi keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Mike Daniels seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Daniels shoots in but no luck this time. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Kianersi creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Kianersi lands with a light punch inside. Kianersi lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Kianersi tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Kianersi gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Daniels.

Daniels shoots in but doesn't get the takedown letting Kianersi counter with a right hand. That's going to take a lot out of him. Daniels with a poor takedown and Kianersi counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Daniels thinking. Daniels closes the distance and clinches up with Kianersi, looking for a takedown. Daniels pushes Kianersi against the cage but Kianersi circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Kianersi pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Daniels is keeping the position for now. Kianersi stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Daniels has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Kianersi manages to get his head free but now Daniels has transitioned to an armbar! Kianersi grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Daniels! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
