Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Juan Carlos Salizon!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Eliza Hachem and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salizon throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Santiago lands a nice hook to Salizon's body. Salizon takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Salizon fails with the takedown.
Nice uppercut lands for Santiago. That snapped Salizon's head back.
Salizon moves forwards but Santiago connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Salizon takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
A combination from Santiago does no damage.
Salizon tries to move into range but Santiago moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Salizon goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Santiago looks to throw the jab but Salizon is out of range.
Salizon tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Santiago swivels and escapes.
Santiago connects with a jab.
A combination from Santiago does no damage.
Santiago lands with a good body shot.
Salizon looks gassed!

Carlos Santiago seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Santiago moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Salizon is rocked!
Santiago catches Salizon with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Salizon is still on wobbly legs! Can Santiago finish him?

Santiago lands a hook that stumbles Salizon back into the cage. Santiago follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Salizon to the canvas! Santiago pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Salizon has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
