Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Danny Garrison! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, James Lang! The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Anthony Taglia and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Garrison defending well as Lang loads up on a big left hand. Garrison waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Lang. Garrison shoots for a takedown but Lang saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Garrison dodges the punch combination from Lang.

Garrison shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Garrison stalling away here and it's allowed Lang to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Garrison has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Lang pushes Garrison off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Lang uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Garrison. Lang leaves Garrison with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. James Lang is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Garrison uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Lang has time to react. Garrison keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Horrible takedown by Garrison or perhaps it was just good defense by Lang which made him look bad. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Danny Garrison. That's going to take a lot out of him. Lang swinging wildly here.
Garrison takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Lang dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Garrison on the wrong end of a nice hook. They are putting on a show! Lang drops Garrison with a beautiful combination! Garrison stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Lang is looking for the KO! Lang is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Garrison rather than just go for the knockout.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lang closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Garrison out cold! Garrison corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
