0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Josh Liddel! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Bruno Hogan and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Liddel waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Bowes. Nice uppercut lands for Liddel. That snapped Bowes's head back.
Liddel misses with a hook. Bowes ducked under it nicely. Liddel throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Bowes is looking to clinch. Bowes takes the fight into the clinch. Liddel wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Liddel blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Josh Liddel's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. Liddel blocks an elbow strike from Bowes.
Liddel pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Liddel scores with a nice strike. Liddel throws a lazy right hand but Bowes sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Liddel misses with a looping left. Bowes doesn't manage to clinch there - Liddel circles away.
Liddel throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Bowes has managed to clinch.
Bowes keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Liddel's efforts to push away. Liddel can't break the clinch.
