The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Auer swinging wildly here.
Polo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Auer tries to avoid it but Polo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Auer to the ground. Auer escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Auer lands a jab to the nose.
Auer throws a series of punches but Polo avoids them all with ease.
Auer fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Auer throws a right hand that Polo ducks under and follows up with a left that Polo also avoids with ease.
Nice shot lands for Auer.

Polo bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Polo remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Polo prevents Auer from escaping the position.
Polo happy to just control the position for now.
Auer tries to buck Polo off but Polo is having none of it.

Polo goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Auer rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Polo's guard! Nice work there by Auer!

Auer is looking to stand up but Polo won't let him.
Polo trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.

Auer is sitting in close to Polo's body. Polo has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Auer is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Auer is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Polo.
