Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Chapman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeff Drabek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Drabek comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Imagine kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Mark Chapman could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jeff Drabek's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mark Chapman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jeff Drabek! The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Chad Campbell and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A telegraphed takedown attempt from Chapman is defended easily by Drabek. Drabek cracks Chapman with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Chapman looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Drabek finish him?
It looks like Mark Chapman has been cut. Chapman shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Chapman being controlled here momentarily. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Chapman trying to control the position from guard on top but Drabek is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Drabek tries to land a sweep but no joy. Chapman in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Drabek has control of Chapman's left arm, preventing Chapman from doing any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Drabek manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Drabek looking to secure an arm triangle but Chapman defends it well. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Chapman regains half guard. Drabek lands with a punch from half guard. Chapman wants to get back to full guard. Drabek seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Chapman does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Chapman is looking for a sweep. Drabek is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Chapman is trying to control but can't.
Chapman is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Drabek's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Drabek's back! Chapman is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Drabek defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chapman is hanging on to Drabek's back as he tries to escape.
Chapman has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Drabek has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Chapman is trying to stick to Drabek's back but Drabek is turning into Chapman. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Chapman's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Drabek.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Drabek is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Chapman is on top in guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Chapman wants to pass the guard but Drabek is keeping the position. Drabek looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Drabek seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Chapman trying to control the position from guard on top but Drabek is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Drabek tries to land a sweep but no joy. Chapman wants to control from the top but Drabek keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Chapman drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Chapman tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Chapman has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Drabek sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Chapman is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Drabek has one foot on Chapman's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jeff Drabek dominated that round. The cut man is working on Mark Chapman's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Drabek defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Chapman. Drabek will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Chapman changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Drabek tries to avoid it but Chapman manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Drabek to the ground. Drabek escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Drabek lands a huge takedown. Chapman is out but the ref is slow to react and Drabek lands 3 more undefended punches before the fight is stopped. Brutal finish. Chapman lies on the canvas for a good minute before the doctors bring him round. Good to see he's OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:15 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jeff Drabek!
