The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
griffin misses with a looping right.
griffin keeps the fight on the outside.
griffin keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
It looks like Greg Nomanson has been cut.
A combination from griffin does no damage.
Nomanson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. griffin defends it nicely.
Nomanson shoots for a double leg takedown but griffin sprawls well. He's pushed Nomanson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
griffin stuffs the takedown attempt from Nomanson. Nomanson gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Greg Nomanson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nomanson looks for a takedown but griffin sprawls well.
Nomanson keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from griffin.
griffin ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
griffin will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
griffin goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
griffin fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Nomanson is breathing heavily.
A left lands for griffin.
Nomanson takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

griffin scores with a punch to the head.
Nomanson is rocked!
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Nomanson. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
griffin drops Nomanson with a huge uppercut! Nomanson drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. griffin is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
