Lesner is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: drop th world. Pasquale CosaNostra is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

CosaNostra bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Lesner trying to remain calm as CosaNostra controls from the top position.
Lesner is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
CosaNostra wants to control but Lesner is keeping him busy.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

CosaNostra shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. CosaNostra showed some decent athleticism there.
Lesner is trying to maintain the position but CosaNostra is very close to passing his half guard.

CosaNostra tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lesner paws at him with a jab and circles away.

CosaNostra drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Lesner manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now CosaNostra has Lesner in his guard.
