He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Xander Adams has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with James Knight's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knight looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Adams is fending him off so far but Knight persists. Nope, Adams circles away and we're back to standing.
Adams looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Knight fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Adams sprawls well initially but Knight persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
