Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Clown Loach (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gota Yo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yo is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Pass Out. Clown Loach has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Clown Loach! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gota Yo! The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Columbo Gatti and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Loach checks a low kick from Yo. Loach gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Yo wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Yo working hard to break the clinch. Loach trying to land knees to the body.
Loach keeps control of Yo as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Nice body punch from Loach - that landed with a thud.

Yo working hard to break the clinch. Yo is trying to break the clinch but Loach has him pressed against the cage. Loach lands a good knee to the midsection. Yo won't want to take too many of those. Yo wants to break the clinch but can't.
Yo is trying to break free. Yo is looking to break free of the clinch but Loach has double underhooks. Loach lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Yo or not. Yo wants to get back to striking at distance but Loach won't allow it.
Loach keeps control of Yo as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Loach is pushing Yo up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Yo looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Loach's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Yo can't break the clinch.

Loach displaying some good clinch control by pressing Yo up against the cage. The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Loach for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Yo is fighting off a takedown attempt but Loach is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Yo to the mat. Yo regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Loach is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Yo can't keep his opponent in guard - Loach advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Yo is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Loach scores with a couple of nice shots. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Loach is keen to just control but Yo is a slippery customer. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Loach lands with a punch from half guard. Loach is nestled in close to Yo, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Loach slips a nice elbow through Yo's hands, connecting with Yo's forehead. Loach trying to pass the guard but Yo defending well. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Loach lands a nice short elbow. Loach lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Loach slips a nice elbow through Yo's hands, connecting with Yo's forehead.
Yo is rocked! Loach working Yo over with strikes. Yo is still in real trouble! Can Loach finish him? Loach takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Loach lands a nice short elbow.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Yo pushes Loach off looking to stand but Loach dives back in and keeps control.
Loach lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Loach looks to score some points with some ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Loach seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Loach lands strikes from half guard. Yo taking some punishment here, with Loach in his half guard. Loach is nestled in close to Yo, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Loach with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Yo pushes Loach off looking to stand but Loach dives back in and keeps control.
Ground and pound from Loach. Yo on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Loach landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Loach is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Yo wants to get back to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Loach scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Loach wants to work for an arm triangle but Yo is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Yo has hold of Loach's hands but Loach slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Loach passes to full mount! Yo seems to have recovered his senses. Loach unloading with bombs! Yo tries to buck Loach off but he can't manage it. BOOM! Loach connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Loach landing strikes, looking to finish! Loach is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Yo can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Loach landing strikes, looking to finish! Yo is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
And thats the end of the round the fighters go back to their corners.
Clown Loach dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Loach closes the distance and clinches. Yo working hard to break the clinch. Yo is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Loach leaning his opponent against the cage. Yo avoiding damage as Loach throws knees to the body.
Loach dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Loach gets through Yo's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. The referee is keeping an eye on Loach - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Loach seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A frustrated look appears on Yo's face as he tries to break the clinch. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Loach. Yo is breathing heavily. A right handed body shot lands from Loach.

Yo's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
That's one minute gone in the round. Loach doesn't manage to clinch there - Yo circles away.
Gota Yo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Loach lands a nice looking body shot.
Loach tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Yo paws at him with a jab and circles away. Yo gets caught flat footed, as Loach shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Loach with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Loach passes into half guard. Loach scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Loach seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Yo tries to kick Loach off in order to stand up. Loach Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. Loach in side control lands a decent elbow. Yo is working to avoid the ground and pound but Loach connects with a decent elbow. Loach lands some shots froms side control. Yo is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Loach has just dragged him back down to the mat. Loach cracks Yo with a big elbow. Loach trying to control the position but Yo is working away. Loach lands an elbow.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Yo is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Loach asserts his dominance and retains side control. Loach scores with punches from side control. Loach is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Yo can do to turn this around? Yo on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Yo takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Loach looks up at the clock and then as Yo takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Loach smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Loach landing a few strikes. Clown Loach overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
