The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Jonathan Paton and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stokes tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Stokes tries to score a power double leg takedown but Vera sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Stokes somewhat.
Vera tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Vera changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Stokes tries to avoid it but Vera manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Stokes to the ground. Stokes escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
