Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ramoan Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Per Fekt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Per Fekt has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fekt takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Ramoan Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silva defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Fekt.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Fekt leaves Silva with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

so Fekt counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Fekt is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Silva doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Fekt counters by moving into the clinch.
Silva tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Fekt smiles and moves away.

Silva drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Fekt manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Silva has Fekt in his guard.

Silva is refusing to be controlled, as Fekt sits in half guard.

Silva has a hand on Fekt's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Fekt takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

Silva tries to lock up and control but Fekt gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Fekt is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!

Silva feints and as Fekt raises his hands in defense, Silva changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Silva is looking to work some ground and pound but Fekt has wrist control.

Fekt manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Silva manages to get himself to full guard.

Fekt decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

and Fekt counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Fekt.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Fekt is trying to get an arm triangle but Silva is defending well.

Fekt has hold of Silva's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Silva seems comfortable defending it but Fekt has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Silva is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Silva is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Fekt couldn't care less - he's delighted!
