Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between James Jorge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jasper Wright (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jasper Wright is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, James Jorge! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jasper Wright! The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Daniel Cesar and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jorge shoots in looking for a takedown. Wright tries to sprawl out of it but Jorge keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Wright manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Wright drops his hands momentarily and Jorge takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Jorge looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Jorge closes the distance and clinches up with Wright, looking for a takedown. Jorge pushes Wright against the cage but Wright circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for James Jorge. That's going to take a lot out of him. Wright will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Jorge gets in close and instigates a clinch. Jorge looking for a takedown. Wright is looking to break free of the clinch but Jorge has double underhooks. Wright is trying to force a seperation but Jorge has the dominant position. Wright gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Jorge.
Jorge goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Wright prevents the takedown attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jorge can't get the takedown.
Jorge prevents Wright from breaking the clinch. Wright stops a takedown attempt from Jorge.
Jorge drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Wright gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Jorge is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Wright gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Jorge can't break the clinch.
Jorge has Wright pressed against the cage, preventing Wright from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Wright wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Wright wants to break the clinch but can't.
Wright stops a takedown attempt from Jorge.
Wright is pressed up against the cage. Jorge has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Wright down to the mat. Wright avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Jorge shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Wright defends it nicely. Jorge is breathing heavily. Wright lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
It looks like James Jorge has been cut.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jorge takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Jorge fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Wright swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Jorge. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A big right followed by a crushing left from Wright knocks Jorge out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
