Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Piter Kuiper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Sawyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Piter Kuiper! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sawyer avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Kuiper misses with a head kick.
Kuiper throws a head kick that Sawyer semi-blocks.
It looks like Tom Sawyer has been cut. Sawyer avoids the head kick by Kuiper.
Kuiper is looking to clinch. Kuiper decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Sawyer regains full guard. Nicely done. Kuiper working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Sawyer throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Kuiper won't allow Sawyer to sweep him here. Kuiper wants to control from the top but Sawyer keeps moving. Kuiper wants to stand but Sawyer has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
That's one minute gone in the round. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Sawyer is on top in guard.
Sawyer controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Sawyer won't allow Kuiper to get back to his feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Sawyer is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. I looks like Sawyer might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Sawyer gets to his feet - Kuiper follows without any prompting. Kuiper closes the distance and clinches up with Sawyer, looking for a takedown. Kuiper pushes Sawyer against the cage but Sawyer circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sawyer drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kuiper is breathing heavily. Sawyer tries for a kimura but Kuiper is defending well. Sawyer sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Kuiper is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Kuiper seems a little lost for a moment, as Sawyer dominates the positioning. Sawyer stands up and we're back to a striking position. Sawyer misses with a low kick as Kuiper jumps back. A bone on bone clash there as Kuiper blocks the leg kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kuiper misses with a takedown and Sawyer counters with a stiff right hand. Kuiper clinches with his opponent.
Sawyer prevents a takedown attempt there.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Piter Kuiper. That's going to take a lot out of him. Sawyer slowing the pace effectively. Sawyer is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Sawyer escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kuiper throws the left hand but Sawyer avoids the punch easily. Sawyer rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kuiper moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Sawyer takes a swing at Kuiper's ribcage but misses. Kuiper tries to clinch and Sawyer counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Kuiper's guard now. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Sawyer controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Sawyer stands up from Kuiper's guard - Sawyer perhaps looking for a knockout. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tom Sawyer dominated that round. The cut man is working on Tom Sawyer's cut. That's time! Back to the action!
Sawyer scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Sawyer lands with an uppercut that bounces Kuiper off the cage and back into rage. Kuiper tries to clinch up and Sawyer makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Kuiper looks to clinch so Sawyer counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Sawyer is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Sawyer passes easily into side control. Nice work. Sawyer decides to stand back up. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sawyer circles away from the clinch attempt and Sawyer counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Sawyer trying to control the pace. Sawyer has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Sawyer with shots to the head and body - Kuiper looks very uncomfortable down there. Tom Sawyer has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sawyer has isolated one of Kuiper's arms. Kuiper looking to fight him off but Sawyer twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
