Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nick Brighton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Meho Sirovica (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brighton comes to the ring accompanied by Rage Against The Machine - Bulls On Parade. Sirovica is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: last mohacian. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looks like Meho Sirovica has been cut.
Brighton looks to throw the jab but Sirovica is out of range.

Brighton tries to bum rush Sirovica with a series of wild strikes but Sirovica uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Brighton will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Brighton throws a right hand that Sirovica ducks under and follows up with a left that Sirovica also avoids with ease.
Sirovica looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Brighton is fending him off so far but Sirovica persists. Nope, Brighton circles away and we're back to standing.
The fighters circling - Brighton throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Sirovica avoids a punch combination nicely.
Brighton catches Sirovica with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Brighton knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sirovica on the ground.
Brighton utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Sirovica connects with a couple of short punches.

Sirovica postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Sirovica drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Brighton dives on top into guard.
Brighton not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Brighton lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Sirovica is looking to close the distance but Brighton sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Sirovica crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Sirovica is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
