Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Diego Augustino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nobu Murphy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Augustino might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Baila el ChikiChiki. Diego Augustino has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murphy clinches up with Augustino and pushes him back against the cage.
Murphy has clasped his hands together around Augustino's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Murphy controlling the position.
Murphy wants to control but Augustino is keeping him busy.

Murphy is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Murphy feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Augustino is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
